Millenials more unified than past generations?

October

Black, white and Hispanic 20-somethings are closer in their views on funding for public education than previous generations at the same age, according to left-wing think tank survey (feel free to make your judgments on its agenda).

Apparently, white young adults used to mirror more the views of their older, conservative counterparts, who thought the purse strings should be tightened.

 Not anymore.

“Between 1988 and 2004, an average of 88 percent of black youth supported increased federal education spending, compared to 83 percent of young Hispanics and 78 percent of young whites,” according to the analysis.

“In contrast, the most current data shows that Millennial whites approached blacks and surpassed their Hispanic peers in their support of increased spending by the federal government on education. Young blacks favored more federal money for education by 92 percent, in comparison with 81 percent of Hispanics and 86 percent of whites.”

Any ideas on why this is shifting?
