Last night I went to a networking event at The Brazen Fox, where there were plenty of well-dressed hunks.
Some fledgling professionals were excited to offer their insights on a hodge podge of stuff.
“The next four years will define the new generation, the individuals coming back from fighting in Iraq, the college graduates, the kids of baby boomers and baby boomers themselves, who are looking to retire. I think 2008 is an interesting time. We have to make a decision that may not impact just the next four years, but will impact our lives.”
— Bill Merz, 29, of Bronxville, on the state of national politics right now.
“The place I go to the most is in White Plains is Porter House. I think it’s cause it’s a nice, casual atmosphere. You can be outside or inside and it’s a lot of fun, and a lot of different people are there.”
— Erica Francisco, 24, of Harrison on her favorite hang-out
“As a young person living in the Westchester County area, prices are extremely high, and I find it hard to live here.”
— Kim Brewer, just turned 30, of Port Chester, on how the slumping economy is affecting her.
“I feel that young people who are trying to pursue a career that is reachable, but not in reach at the moment, older people need to realize if we come across as too confident, maybe (we) are just trying hard to accomplish what (we) are doing.”
— Danielle Rollins, 28, of Hawthorne, on the one thing people misunderstand about 20-somethings.

No dressed hunks were there because Larry and I didn’t come.
(I wrote this before realizing there is a Capri Sun juice stain on my wrinkled yellow shirt).
